Our approach to sports physicals

Sports physicals help ensure that young athletes are in shape and ready to play. Our experts evaluate your athlete’s overall health and identify potential issues or medical conditions that could put them at risk.

For students in grades K–12 who want to participate in sports at state athletic association member schools, the exam is a requirement.

Our team of licensed athletic trainers, sports medicine doctors and support staff have the knowledge and experience to provide high-quality sports physicals. The exam will include:

• assessments of muscles, bones, cartilage, ligaments and joints
• vision assessment, blood pressure check and height and weight measurements
• general medical status, including cardiopulmonary and cardiovascular health
• education on concussion risks and sudden cardiac arrest warning signs
• thorough review of health history to identify potential concerns
