Understanding Breastfeeding is a free breastfeeding class to give you the knowledge and confidence of breastfeeding your newborn. We will review what to expect during "the golden hour" to the first few days after delivery. You will learn how breastfeeding works, what a good latch is, positioning, feeding cues, how to establish a good milk supply through breastfeeding or pumping, and more! We will also discuss challenges you may come across and how to overcome them.
