This series includes 3 childbirth preparation classes. All dates for the series are listed to the right.
Our classes are designed to give you the information you need to make the best decisions for yourself and your baby. The childbirth education classes focus on preparing you for labor, birth, and the early postpartum period. You will learn about the stages of labor, comfort measures, medical options for pain relief, labor interventions, cesarean sections, the postpartum period, the role of the support person, as well as relaxation and breathing techniques. We recommend registering for this class during or after your fifth month of pregnancy.
These classes are fully covered by Medical Assistance health insurance plans: Prepared Childbirth Series, Condensed Childbirth Class, Refresher Class, Online Childbirth Education Bundle. All Medical Assistance insurances cover them. These are the insurance plans given by the state. The WellSpan Financial Assistance Program also covers them.
You can change individual class dates if needed. Please contact our office at childbirthedu@wellspan.org or (717) 851-2241 if there is a specific date you need to change.

Instructions
If you do not receive your Registration Confirmation email, please first check your junk or spam folder. The email will come from noreply@wellspan.org. If you are still unable to locate your email, please email childbirthedu@wellspan.org at least 2 business days before your class.
Cancellation Policy
You will receive a full refund if you cancel more than a week prior to the start of class. There will be a $15 processing fee subtracted from your refund for a cancellation less than one week prior to the start of class. There are no refunds after the first class date.
