
HeartCode BLS (Basic Life Support) is for healthcare professionals seeking an alternative method for completing an initial or renewal BLS course. After completing the online portion of HeartCode BLS, students attend a structured BLS Hands-On Session with an AHA Instructor. This session focuses on meaningful skills practice, debriefing, team scenarios, discussions of local protocols, and skills testing. Participants will need to bring a copy of their online certificate to class.
Class end-time is approximate dependent on class size.

Complete the online course to receive a certificate of completion. You must bring this certificate to the skills portion of the class.
The online portion of the class is handled through the American Heart Association, so any questions regarding the online class should be directed to AHA customer service at 1-888-277-5463.
After completing the online portion, you must also attend the instructor-lead, hands-on skills session to obtain your 2-year certification.
