This series is for parents who have been told by their healthcare provider that they will be delivering their baby by planned cesarean section. This series includes one childbirth class, Baby Care, and Breastfeeding 101: The Basics.
Please do not register for the Baby Care and Breastfeeding 101: The Basics classes. Those classes are included in this series. We will contact you via email to schedule those two classes.
Please note: the childbirth class is part of our childbirth series, so it will also cover medical interventions as well as unplanned cesarean sections. The primary focus of this class is cesarean sections and the postpartum period. We will share information about what happens before, during, and after the cesarean section; the role of your support person; and postpartum recovery in the hospital and at home.
We recommend registering for this class during or after your fifth month of pregnancy.

Instructions
Our virtual classes are done through Microsoft Teams. The Microsoft Teams link you will need, for your class/classes, is included under “Additional Details” in your Registration Confirmation email. If you do not receive your Registration Confirmation email, please first check your junk or spam folder. The email will come from noreply@wellspan.org. If you are still unable to locate your email, please email childbirthedu@wellspan.org at least 2 business days before your class.
Cancellation Policy
You will receive a full refund if you cancel more than a week prior to the start of class. There will be a $15 processing fee subtracted from your refund for a cancellation less than one week prior to the start of class. There are no refunds after the first class date.
