Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I wanted to choose a career which would allow me to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those around me. I found medicine, and cardiology in particular, to be that field. Given my unique life experiences growing up as an immigrant in this country, I know how difficult and daunting it can be to navigate our healthcare system and I want to help my patients navigate this system with clarity. I want to be their voice and advocate.

What I want my patients to know about me:

Before medical school, I worked as a pharmacy manager and a medical scribe for several years, which gave me a unique perspective on other aspects of medicine which doctors do not always get to see. It is always my goal to put myself in my patients' shoes and understand the unique challenges they are facing so that I can best help them achieve their healthcare related goals.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants and coffee spots, keeping up with world events, and spending time with my wife and our adorable two year-old daughter.
