Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I chose to pursue a career as a neonatal nurse practitioner because of my passion to take care of the most fragile lives and help their families in the process. I have always enjoyed caring for babies from birth to discharge and being a part of the process in helping babies to go home healthy.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I would love my patient families to know that I treat my babies as if they were my own family members. Each family has their own unique situation and I believe that tailoring care to meet the individual family's needs provides the best hospital course. I encourage my families to ask as many questions as they need to so that they fully understand what is going on with their baby.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

When I am not seeing patients, I enjoy time with my husband, four children, and two dogs. Having four kids on swim teams keeps me very busy, but I enjoy watching them year-round. We are always on the go, spending time with family, and making every moment count.
