Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:
I decided to pursue my nurse practitioner degree so I can use my knowledge to help the community I live in. I want to make a difference and be there to help. When a patient is not feeling well they want to not only have their concerns heard but they want to start on a plan that is going to get them feeling better. I enjoy educating patients on their plan and medications. It is humbling to hear from a past patient that the time I took with them truly did make a difference.
What I want my patients to know about me:
I love to make people smile and laugh. I understand no one truly wants to be at an Urgent Care, but if I can make that a more enjoyable experience for them, great!
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
I enjoy spending time with my family, dogs and friends.
