Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I've always been drawn to the practice of medicine because it is so incredibly dynamic and ever-changing and it presents me with the unique opportunity to be a life-long learner. Most importantly, I get to use what I learn to make a positive impact by helping others take care of their health.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I want my patients to know that I will always take the time to listen to them and I will advocate for them whenever necessary. We will work together to come up with a treatment plan that we both feel comfortable with. I'm a big believer in education and I want my patients to leave each visit knowing exactly what's going on with them and how they can best take care of themselves at home. I will answer any questions they may have to the best of my ability and will never be too busy to address their concerns.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter, and West Highland terrier, Jack. I love traveling to places I've never been before and going out to eat at new restaurants. I enjoy being active, watching Netflix, practicing photography and reading. I'm currently trying to teach myself how to play guitar but its been a struggle because I literally have no musical talent whatsoever! I am also a fan of Chicago sports teams and the Kentucky Wildcats and will watch/attend games whenever I get the chance.
