Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare?:

I chose to pursue a career in healthcare because I always wanted to help others and make a meaningful difference in people's lives. Healthcare offers me endless opportunities to directly impact patient care by serving our community with high quality, compassionate care to the most vulnerable patients.

What I want my patients to know about me?:

I would like my patients to know that I love my career as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP). Taking care of the most precious vulnerable patients has been so rewarding, and I am grateful to be a part of this NICU team. I spent the first 19 years of my nursing career as a NICU nurse at York hospital and then completed my master's degree and certification as an NNP in 2019. I recognize the stress and challenges NICU parents experience while having their infant in our care, and I promise to always offer high-quality care. Thank you for trusting me and our team to care for your family.

What I do when I’m not seeing patients?:

When I'm not working, I spend most of my time caring for my family. I am a mother too and wear a lot of different hats at home! When I can get away, I love going to the beach to relax and play volleyball and pickleball with my kids. I am quite competitive and will play to win! I also enjoy home decor and home improvements around my home, and love watching HGTV for inspiration.
