Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:
My choice to become a doctor was driven by human values that was imprinted on me by my parents. It is a privilege to help others with their illnesses, and make them healthier. This makes me love my job.
What I want my patients to know about me:
I want to give my patients an impression of me as listener, compassionate and an easy manner that put them at ease.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
When I am not seeing patients, I enjoy gardening, weekend movie night with my family and traveling internationally. My wife and I organize a medical mission at least every 2 years in remote areas in the Philippines. We volunteer in our church activities.
