Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare?:

As an urgent care nurse practitioner with a long history of working in the hospital as an ICU nurse previously, every day is different and exciting. I love the intellectually challenging and rewarding aspect of diagnosing and treating patients. What I love even more about health care, and why I ultimately pursued it, is forming connections with others and allowing patients to feel heard and understood.

What I want my patients to know about me?:

I am an optimistic person and love working in health care! I enjoy meeting new people each day and hopefully leaving their day a bit brighter than before they arrived. Mental health is as important as physical health!

What I do when I’m not seeing patients?:

When I am not at work, my favorite hobbies include traveling, hiking and cooking! I love being outdoors and spending time with my husband and family.
