Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

As a child I loved helping people. After graduating high school, I became a certified nurse anesthetist. I wanted to do more to help my patients and furthered my education to become a registered nurse. From that point, I was able to care for patients in many ways, but I still felt I could do more and therefore pursued more education to be a nurse practitioner where I could help my patients to the best of my abilities.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I put my patients' needs first. I am open minded and will listen to any concerns they may have and work together with them to address those concerns. Their health and wellness is my priority.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I enjoy spending time with my family. My son is a dirt bike racer and we travel all over the country to allow him to do what he loves. If we are not doing that we are into anything outdoors--hunting, fishing, kayaking.
