Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:
Ever since I was very young, I wanted a career in medicine. I was always interested in biology and love to know how the body works. The newborn population holds a very special place in my heart. I enjoy providing care to newborns and their families immediately after birth and am honored that I can be there during this very special time in their lives.
What I want my patients to know about me:
I was a RN/Clinical Nurse Specialist in the NICU for many years before I began in my current role as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. I enjoy education of both staff and families and base my practice on current evidence. My goal is to provide top notch care to newborn infants and to their families.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
I enjoy traveling with my family and friends.
