About the Fellowship

Located in the heart of south-central Pennsylvania, WellSpan York Hospital is a 596-bed tertiary care center and Level I Trauma Center. The Surgical Critical Care Fellowship provides fellows with robust clinical exposure and a strong foundation in the principles and practices of critical care.

Our fellows benefit from:

Hands-On Clinical Training: A high-acuity environment with diverse pathology in trauma, general surgery, vascular surgery, and more.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work alongside specialists in trauma surgery, emergency medicine, neurosurgery, anesthesiology, and other key disciplines.

Fellowship Length: 1 year
Fellowship Type: ACGME-accredited
Number of Fellows: 1 per year
Clinical Rotations: Surgical ICU, Trauma ICU, Neurosurgical ICU, and Elective rotations.
Call Schedule: No call responsibilities, ensuring fellows can focus on learning and clinical care during daytime hours.
