Dr. Alicia Tucker earned her medical degree from Albany Medical College and completed her Family Medicine residency at ChristianaCare in Delaware. She further specialized in Primary Care Sports Medicine through a fellowship at the University of Maryland/Union Memorial Hospital.
Early in her career, Dr. Tucker served as Medical Director of an ambulatory family medicine practice in Bowie, Maryland, while practicing with Johns Hopkins Community Physicians. During this time, she also worked as a ringside physician for USA Boxing.
Dr. Tucker later returned to academic medicine at the University of Maryland, where she served as a team physician in College Park, providing both clinical and sideline care for Division I student-athletes. She also held the role of Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine and cared for patients in Baltimore.
She subsequently served as Fellowship Director for the Tower Health/Drexel Sports Medicine Fellowship and as Head Team Physician for Drexel University (Division I) and Lincoln University (Division II). Currently, Dr. Tucker serves as a team physician for York College (Division III) and York High School. She is also the Medical Director of Sports Medicine at WellSpan Health.

Hobbies: spending time with family, reading, trying new restaurants, traveling and Peloton
Jeremy Palmer, DO

Dr. Jeremy Palmer graduated from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine - Harlem in 2020 and completed his Family Medicine Residency at WellSpan Health - York in 2023. He then specialized in Primary Care Sports Medicine at Penn State Health - Hershey in 2024. He has since returned to WellSpan Health - York serving as the Assistant Program Director.
During Fellowship, he gained sideline experiences with athletes at Lebanon Valley College, Special Olympics of Pennsylvania, and worked alongside the team physician for the Hershey Bears Ice Hockey Team.
He is currently team physician for Dover Area High School and assists with various mass events including pre-participation physicals and races sponsored by WellSpan.
He is currently serving in the Army Reserves as a Family Physician and has special interest in teaching POCUS to residents and fellows at WellSpan Health. He additionally does research with pregnant patients and intervenes in their pain during pregnancy.
Interests: Military medicine, injury prevention, running medicine, and well-being.
