How We Can Help
Inpatient and Outpatient Physiatry Care
Our expert team provides physical medicine and rehabilitation care for adults in both the inpatient hospital and outpatient office settings. Our physiatrists also work within our interventional pain specialists to provide support for long-term pain management. Our physiatrists see patients throughout the region, and we are proud to offer a high level of care for a variety of conditions close to home.
If you’re in pain, we understand that the first thing on your mind is getting relief. At the same time, you’re likely concerned about long-term dependence on pain medication. We focus on getting our patients away from long-term pain medications through the use of complementary treatments, such as massage, nutrition, acupuncture and yoga.
Our world-class stroke program provides expert care for stroke patients and support for their families. Our full spectrum of services covers your care from diagnosis in the hospital to ongoing care through our office locations and rehabilitation programs.
Movement Disorders are a diverse group of diseases that result in the inability to produce willed physical movements or that result in involuntary movements such as tremors, including Parkinson's disease, essential tremor, restless leg syndrome (RLS), Tourette syndrome, Huntingdon's disease and more. WellSpan's program helps people with these conditions manage symptoms and maintain quality of life.
If you’ve experienced a complex brain injury due to a car accident, workplace accident, concussion or illness, you need advanced care. We have a neurologist in-house who focuses on brain injury management, and works to coordinate care with ophthalmology, occupational therapy, back-to-work programs and other services.
