Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I grew up alongside a mother who cared for the elderly, and I found myself enjoying caring for others as much as she did. I set my goal early in life to pursue medicine. My mentors as a young child were my pediatricians. As I got older, I worked as a medical assistant for two OB/GYN physicians and fell in love the specialty. I loved the idea of caring for women in various stages of life and sharing in the most special experiences of their lives.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I will take time with you to understand your concerns, answer your questions, and offer the best care I can for you.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I spend as much time as I can with my family. My husband and I have two beautiful children who keep our life exciting and always interesting! I love to be outdoors, whether at the beach or gardening in the backyard. I grew up in Kentuckiana (southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky) and still go home to visit my sister and closest friends. We love to travel to wherever it is warm...especially to visit the in-laws in Hawai'i.
