Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare?:

From a young age, I was motivated to pursue medicine for the positive impact that could be made in individual lives and in entire populations. Inspired by my parents’ example of service and by my faith, I was motivated to pursue medicine as a form of practical compassion in action. I love family medicine because we comprise some of the kindest doctors in the profession. The chance to build long-term relationships and to provide care for the entire family is rewarding.

What I want my patients to know about me?:

As doctors, we are privileged to be a part of your life and medical journey. Even when the path forward becomes challenging or unclear, I am committed to walk with you on your journey to health and healing. I am passionate about ensuring that my patients are heard and understood. If you ever struggle to understand something that is recommended to you, please ask for clarification. I am happy to help explain anything further for you.

I am a York city native and happy to be back home to practice medicine here!

What I do when I’m not seeing patients?:

My free time is spent with my family and church. We love to spend time outdoors hiking, biking and playing at the park. I am still trying to beat my wife in tennis! One of my favorite activities is to sit on my front porch and talk with neighbors and friends.
