I have known since the time I was very young that I wanted to pursue medicine. Growing up, I felt a strong sense of satisfaction when I was able to take care of my younger siblings when they were sick, or nurse a scrawny little kitten back to health. I knew early on that it was my purpose in life to help bring health and healing to others. As a Lancaster County native, I consider it a privilege to serve my own community, and surrounding communities, as a medical provider!
I love women's health! My first nursing job was a labor and delivery nurse. After several years in labor and delivery, I transferred into the operating room and became a circulating nurse where I spent many days helping with gynecological surgeries. With the encouragement of friends, family, and co-workers, I eventually went back to school to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. My nursing background perfectly prepared me for my career with WellSpan OB/GYN in Lebanon! As your nurse practitioner, I will be your biggest advocate and strongest ally in your journey to better health. I want you to know that you will not be alone in whatever you may be going through. I will approach your health in a holistic and evidence-based manner so all of your health needs are being treated the best way we know how. Your goals are my goals, too!
When I'm not seeing patients, you can find me running around on a soccer field, grabbing coffee at a local coffee shop, spending time with my friends, or hanging out with my husband and Golden Retriever!
