I went to the doctor for a yearly routine physical exam. Only the basics exams are done regarding heart, lungs, abdomen and looking in my ears and throat.  Maybe the insurance companies are dictating this but what happened to having your hearing and reflexes checked along with palpating your abdomen while lying on the exam table? I am finding that what is considered a physical exam has become the bare minimum of an exam.
