Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I was initially inspired by our family pediatrician who was always a pleasure to visit. I was never afraid of going to the doctor and I really admired him. I lost my mother to breast cancer when I was twelve years old and spent a lot of time in the hospital as a kid. It quickly became a familiar place and I recall the nurses being so caring and supportive to my Mom and our family. It made me realize that I wanted to be that person for others one day.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I truly love what I do. I value the trust and confidence that our patients have in their medical care team.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

Nothing beats a big feast around the table with family and friends! I also enjoy traveling to new places to learn about different cultures and try all the delicious types of food the world has to offer.
