Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare?:

Growing up in India and now practicing in the United States, I’ve seen the deep impact that compassionate, skilled medical care can have on individuals and families. I chose a career in health care because I’ve always been drawn to work that combines purpose with precision, helping others in their most vulnerable moments while constantly pushing myself to improve. Surgery, especially minimally invasive and robotic approaches, allows me to use advanced techniques to restore health and quality of life. It's an honor to serve patients and their families, and I’m committed to delivering care that is not only technically excellent, but also grounded in empathy and respect.

What I want my patients to know about me?:

I want my patients to know that I genuinely care about their well-being, not just during surgery, but before and after as well. I understand that facing surgery can be stressful, and I’m committed to listening, answering questions honestly and guiding each patient through the process with compassion and clarity. I approach every case as if I were caring for a member of my own family, and I take pride in being thorough, thoughtful and precise. Outside the operating room, I value staying healthy, active and grounded, and I believe those habits help me bring my best to each patient, every day.

What I do when I’m not seeing patients?:

When I’m not in the hospital, I enjoy staying active, whether it's running, biking, playing pickleball or exploring the outdoors. I love traveling, discovering new cultures and cuisines and spending quality time with my family. These moments away from work help me stay grounded, energized and ready to give my best to my patients.
