Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare?:

I chose a career in medicine to directly impact people in a positive and meaningful way. For me, radiology was a natural choice because it brought together my engineering background (bachelor’s and master’s degrees in engineering) with my interest in the life sciences.

What I want my patients to know about me?:

My goal is to treat every patient with compassion and fairness, along with bringing forward the best of my ability, knowledge and skill on their behalf. This may mean performing procedures such as breast biopsies as proficiently as possible, or taking the extra time in reading scans and mammograms, keeping in mind that behind every image is a real, live person who is depending on us.

What I do when I’m not seeing patients?:

I enjoy hiking, gardening and travel, as well as spending time with time with my family.
