Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:
When I was in high school, I had the opportunity to shadow a local hospital's emergency department. During that time, I really had no idea what I wanted to do for a career. That shadowing experience opened my eyes to the field of medicine. I was always interested in science but the experience made realize that a major part of medicine was not only the science but also the relationship a doctor has with their patients. Medicine is the perfect field that uses science to help others.
What I want my patients to know about me:
My family and I came to York County from the Philippines when I was 11 years old. I lived and grew up in Red Lion and Dover area. I completed my undergraduate studies at York College of Pennsylvania. After attending medical school in Philadelphia, I completed my anesthesiology training in Lancaster, PA. I am deeply connected to the area and very happy to return and continue my career in the York area.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
I love spending time with my wife and family. I am also a movie buff and a car enthusiast.
