I actually told our provider that this is the best care we have gotten in sometime.  Since Dr. Kovatsos took over we have better care than we have had on a few years.

He does not listen. When concerns are expressed he brushes them off as to not be concerned. When someone is in pain and needs answers or suggestions on how to proceed, he is NOT who you want.

Always does great job, excellent front desk staff and medical assistants.

Was a previous pt. Of Dr. K's...i good fit for me.

Doctor did not listen to my concerns.  His notes were cut and paste, we didn't talk about 90% of the things in the notes.

Dr. Kovastos is an all around great guy.  Very knowlegeable and always shows a concern for the results of my blood work.  He always goes over my medicine list first thing.  This time I had a low blood pressure reading and he decided to cut my amlodipine dosage in half. I had been experiencing light headedness.  I was able to adjust that med as suggested.  That solved my problem.  Dr K is easy to talk to, amd a good listener.  He gives a  thorough exam. He also answers my health questions without hesitation.

Dr Kouvatsis works beyond courteous to deliver a personal caring experience. He reviews my medical history for each visits; is a good listener and makes referrals to specialists as warranted. His holistic approach encompasses mental issues as well. My only problem is that the referrals for mental care has such a long waiting list that it's like not having any care at all. This issue is no fault of Dr Kouvatsis but the lack of proper staffing of mental health professionals

I really appreciate Dr. Kouvatsos's demeanor. He is always friendly, open, and easy to talk to.

My doctor enter the exam room with a friendly, "Hello, hello, hello.  After that the exam becomes a scripted 10 minutes ordeal.  He then sits before a computer in one corner of room while I sit in the other corner (Please don't sit on the exam table closer to the doctor.  Sit on the chair in the corner.).  He looks over my vitals reading them out loud.  He then reads over my meds out loud and finally looks over my blood test results.  He then gives me a quick look and then orders blook work for 6 months later and sends me on my way.  Dr. K was not like this before WellSpan took over the office.  He engaged with his patients.  He realized each of his patient were important to him as a doctor.  Now, with WellSpan, it a business that tries hard to convince people how much WellSpan cares about them.  However, I come to the conclusion that WellSpan cares most about the corporate bottom line than any individual patient.  Oh, by the way, the young lade that checked me out at the front desk was wonderful.  Look me in the eye, called my by name, and answered any questions.  Wonderful!

Always listens to what you say and then explains what is happening

I had questions about my health and what could be a condition. I have. And found doctor k to not be knowledgeable on it and what has gone on.
