Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I had always enjoyed science classes in school. After a shadowing program in high school when I spent a day following a physician in his office, I became convinced that a career as a physician was what I wanted to do. As a practicing physician, I am able to apply the science I have learned in a hands-on environment. The decision to pursue a career in orthopedic surgery has allowed me to utilize my education and training in a way that can change my patients' lives for the better.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I am privileged to work with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals who are committed to helping patients achieve their goals. I strive to make sure my patients always feel part of this team and understand the condition that is affecting them. It's also important to me that my patients understand all the treatment options available to them.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I enjoy spending time with my wife and our golden retriever. I also enjoy working on small projects around the house and attending classic car shows.
