Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare?:

When I was younger, my mom had multiple chronic illnesses. I wanted to be able to make a difference and help her feel better. I started as a CNA when I was 14.

What I want my patients to know about me?:

I graduated from Penn State University with a master’s degree as a family nurse practitioner. My clinical interests include primary care, preventive care and empowering patients through education and shared decision-making. I believe in treating the whole person.

What I do when I’m not seeing patients?:

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren, reading or listening to audiobooks. I also love to travel — my favorite vacation is on a cruise ship.
