Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:
I'm passionate about working with children. After a 10-year career working as a school-based Speech Language Pathologist, I was ready for a big change. I love working closely with my families and providing one-on-one therapy sessions to meet my patients' and their families' needs.
What I want my patients to know about me:
I take a patient-drive approach. I follow my patient's lead and prefer a play-based approach. I firmly believe that learning cannot happen unless my patients trust and establish rapport with me. It is very important to me for my patient's parents to feel heard and respected.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
I love trying new foods with my husband, playing with my two sons, and snuggling our three dogs, Alvin, Simon, and Theodore. You can always find me reading or listening to books. I love embroidery, spending time in nature and new experiences.
