Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare?:

Growing up as an athlete, I was introduced to healthcare through my own injuries and became interested in the human body and the process of recovery. Through medical training, that interest developed into a deeper fascination with the complexity of the human experience — not only health and illness, but how our physical abilities affect our identity, relationships and quality of life. My faith and my own life experiences have also given me a profound sense of calling to serve others and have shaped the compassion and perspective I try to bring to each patient encounter.

What I want my patients to know about me?:

I want my patients to know that I genuinely want to understand what they are going through and what matters most to them. I believe good medicine starts with listening. My goal is to meet patients where they are, work together toward meaningful goals and help them regain function and get back to the people and activities that give their lives meaning.

What I do when I’m not seeing patients?:

Outside of work I enjoy cooking and trying new restaurants, traveling with my fiancée and spending time with our friends, family and our husky. I also practice Brazilian jiu-jitsu and have traveled across the country to train, teach and compete.
