Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:
I have always been interested in the field of medicine. First, I was (and still currently am) an Athletic Trainer. I worked as an Athletic Trainer for 15+ years in a variety of settings with most of my time spend in the secondary school setting. I then wanted to change my focus to dealing with more than just the athletic population so I decided to return to school. The career of Physician Assistant allows me to treat a wide range of populations and the ability to positively affect the health of more than just the athletic population that I once dealt with.
What I want my patients to know about me:
I am a Certified Athletic Trainer as well as a Physician Assistant. I enjoy treating a wide variety of patients - from newborns to geriatrics.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
When not seeing patients, I enjoy spending time outside being active. I am an avid runner and cyclist.
