Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

Family medicine is truly an all encompassing field. I enjoy the diversity in what I see and who I meet with on a daily basis. For me, being a family medicine physician means that I am constantly learning from my patients. It is not uncommon to see a newborn for their first well visit and then an older patient with multiple ailments in the next room. Family medicine has allowed me to form lasting bonds with patients and their family members. I am thankful to be part of your healthcare team!

What I want my patients to know about me:

I was born and raised in Lebanon and a proud Lebanon Catholic graduate. I am happy to be able to serve the people of this county and to help preserve their health. I enjoy teaching-whether a medical, nursing student or patient. I believe the more information you as a patient have, the more likely you are to make healthy decisions regarding your health care.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

Fall means Penn State football. When I'm not spending my weekends at Beaver Stadium, I can often be found with my husband (who is also a WellSpan physician) attending soccer games or swim meets with our daughter and son. During my "free time" I enjoy reading, cooking, baking and occasionally catching a reality show on TV. My ideal weekend would involve my family and me relaxing on the Jersey shore!
