Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:
It's great to be able to help people. I really enjoy figuring out tough diagnoses and helping people who are really sick get better and return to their normal lives. In health care, you get to be with people on the worst days of their lives and make those days a little better.
What I want my patients to know about me:
Coming to the hospital is a stressful experience. I want to be there beside you to help guide you through your stay to a successful outcome. You know your body better than I do, so I promise to listen to you and make you a full partner in crafting your treatment plan. It is very important to me that you understand all of your tests and all of your options so that you can make good decisions. I will be there for you and your family no matter what happens.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
I enjoy spending time with my wife and five children. I am an avid runner, and I especially enjoy trail running in the parks around York and Lancaster counties. I am also very active in my church and with the Boy Scouts.
