Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:
Practicing medicine allows me the opportunity to care for others in my community. In this way, medicine is very fulfilling. Surgery also involves creativity, critical thinking and problem solving. It is an honor and a privilege to do this work and help others.
What I want my patients to know about me:
Undergoing surgery and needing medical care can be very difficult and stressful. My goal is to be a partner with my patients as they move through this process and give whatever support they need. I aim to provide the highest quality surgical care and be deserving of their trust.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
When not at the hospital, I enjoy spending my time outside. My family and I enjoy traveling, kayaking, swimming, backpacking, and simply lounging at the beach. We also enjoy entertaining at our home.
