Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I knew from an early age that I wanted to be a doctor. My siblings and I all have asthma and spent a lot of time sick as children, including my youngest sibling who needed to be hospitalized several times before they were two years old, and so we spent a lot of time at the doctor's office. I looked up to my own doctors and strive to make my patients feel as cared for as my doctors have always made me feel.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I believe strongly in patient autonomy. I view myself as a partner in your health journey. I look forward to helping you be as healthy as you would like to be.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I have a long list of varied interests! I have 2 big rescue dogs and a sassy cat, and I volunteer with an animal rescue organization. I love to do physical activities including running, hot yoga and Jazzercise (yes, the 80s workout! It's considered a high intensity work out now). I spend time with my husband and stepson and will be having my first daughter in January 2022!
