Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:
From the age of 4, I always wanted to be a nurse. Throughout my career, I have returned to formal education on several occasions so I can continue to grow in knowledge to offer more support to better partner with my patients.

Health is not merely the absence of illness or disease, but rather a sense of well-being and functioning that moves across a continuum. Whole health begins with mental health and should be considered the foundation for all health and well-being. I believe my role as a nurse practitioner is to partner with patients so they may achieve their highest level of health, functioning and sense of well-being.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
I love to travel, especially to coastal places where I can put my toes in the sand and enjoy the calming sounds of ocean waves.
