Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I enjoyed studying the biological sciences and the science of nursing. A graduate degree in Nurse Anesthesiology was a very natural fit to bridge these passions. Furthermore, with a background in nursing, I want to ensure patients have a positive and safe experience through the treatment of the patient's pain and anxiety in the peri-operative process.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

In my free time I really enjoy the outdoors. I love hiking, biking or running with my spouse and two dogs. On the weekends, I look forward to going to the York Central Market, spending time with friends and family, and working my doctoral research.
