Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I have wanted to be a doctor for as long as I can remember. I think it is because my dad had cancer when I was very young. The type of medicine I thought I was interested in varied over the years, but once I started working with patients, I knew I wanted to be a family physician, seeing people of all ages with all types of concerns.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I prefer to work together with each patient, as we make the best choices for their health and medical care. I hope my patients will be open and honest with me, and I do my best to discuss the available options and consider each patient's individual situation and preferences to determine the best management.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I homeschool my children. I have four children, but they are growing up, and very soon I will only be homeschooling the youngest one. I enjoy playing keys for the worship band at church. I enjoy reading and doing DIY projects at my home.
