Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

The excitement my mom shared working as a nurse and later, as a patient, transformed my goals for medicine from a childhood aspiration to a zealous life-purpose. The broad spectrum of conditions an internist can diagnose, manage and potentially cure, surpasses that of most other specialties; this affords me more opportunities to promote wellness in my patients.

What I want my patients to know about me:

My passion for people, the breadth of my community service engagement and leadership experience have helped hone my ability to relate to my patients. Navigating through our healthcare matrix is exceptionally challenging; I aspire to alleviate the complexities of this atleast within our own system. When I am not working clinically, I spend most of my week administratively with the intent to improve our patients' experience at Wellspan. My goal is to be my patients' trusted partner as they navigate through what may be one of the most vulnerable phases in their lives. Please ask as many questions as you can possibly think of; lets make sure we are on the same page so we can work together towards your wellness.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I enjoy displaying macro/travel photography galleries, spending time with my family and spoiling our Cavachon puppy. My husband and I strive to be engaged in our community. Mentoring high school and college students for careers in medicine through various programs is something dear to my heart. Medicine is my calling and I want to make sure I can help others hear that calling.
