Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

Medicine is a fascinating field that combines my love of helping others and science. It stays new and rejuvenating since it's frequently advancing which means there is always something new to learn. Pediatrics is a unique specialty of medicine; kids are a special population, who are still growing, changing, and who can't always verbally express what is wrong, which makes them even more of a puzzle.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I love what I do as a pediatric hospitalist. I strive to go above and beyond expectations as a physician, because I treat patients not only from the perspective of a physician but also as a parent. I give as much time as is needed to every family that I have the privilege to treat.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I relish spending time with my wife and 4 children. I enjoy a variety of activities outside work; cooking, biking, hiking, traveling, photography, soccer, tennis and baseball to name a few.
