New patient of Dr. Winer - Saw him in Feb.  Retired March 1, 2024 - Had to wait for Medicare Part B & supplemental - Then I set up tests & appt.

I had been waiting to meet the doctor (who is going to operate on me in June) long before, when I made an appointment with him in January and only the nurse had seen me (who was excellent).

Dr. Winer is an excellent surgeon and shows the utmost respect for his patients.

While I understand that a doctors' time is valuable, so is mine. So, if I do not have all my questions answered or feel the doctor is being dismissive or has already checked out of the appointment or has nothing to offer if I do not ask a specific question pertaining to my condition, then my time has been wasted as well as theirs.

I do not like that Dr Winer sends appt letter/details to my family provider describing details about my "exam" which were never performed. He has not laid hands on me since 2015, but notes that he did an exam at my appt. He only reviewed MRI's with me. He did not do anything stated in that letter. I do not like that!

I have no negative thing to add to this survey.

Dr. Winer is always pleasant and up to date on my health history.

Dr Winer was concise,pleasant,and amusingly frank. He is apparently an excellent surgeon. I bumped into 3 individual patients and queried another surgeon; all spoke highly of him.

Provider listened to my concerns and gave me options to address my issues.

At Wellspan, they always make it a good experience.

Very professional yet down to earth and friendly.

Dr. Winer is the best neurosurgeon and trust him for my needs!

Dr. Winer got directly to the point of the visit, discussing the MRI results & how to proceed from here.  Further tests to get to the exact problem/cause of my issues appear to be aimed in the right direction.  I am hopeful.

I tried to find out what's wrong with my knees. I was in a car accident the beginning of this year. My knees have been hurting since and no one will tell me what's wrong

Dr Winer is an excellent surgeon. We can talk at a level that I understand and usually I look forward to seeing him. He is always pleasant. He answers my questions and then makes small talk to put me at ease. I wish I could make him my regular Dr.
