Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I was raised in a family of health care professionals and have always admired the hard work and dedication by my mother (nurse) & uncle (physician). As cliché as it may sound, I have always had a passion for helping others. During my high school years, I was an active member in my church and community through various clubs and organizations, which allowed me to serve others in various capacities. Helping others feels like second nature to me and working in the medical field as a Physician Assistant has allowed me to do this on a daily basis.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I was trained by exemplary physicians who have helped me to flourish into the provider I am today. Headaches and migraines are my forte within Neurology and I actively research new ways to treat them. I am a member of WellSpan's Headache Committee, which is designing a new approach to the management of our headache patients.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love the beach, so I try to escape to paradise any chance I can get. I have an obsession with all things Christmas, so I'm typically planning out decorating ideas for the next year, holiday party planning, watching Hallmark movies and, of course, listening to the music of the season.
