Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

Combining my love of science with the ability to positively impact people's health was a winning combination. I also love the challenge of medicine. There is no mastery. There is always something new to discover.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I consider it an honor to be a part of someone's health. Through family and personal experiences I understand how challenging it can be when your health is compromised. Instead of just reading images on a screen, I try to keep in mind what the patient must be feeling physically and emotionally. I think it makes me a better radiologist.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

Being outside surrounded by the beauty of nature, working with flowers, cooking with fresh veggies from the local farm, biking, sports, traveling and spending valuable time with my family bring me joy! Also, I must admit...I love a good nap!
