Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare?:

I stumbled upon behavioral healthcare by working in a residential facility for adults during college. The environment was unique and successfully coordinated the lives of 15 adults experiencing severe mental health challenges in one home. Through this experience, I developed a desire to use evidence-based practices to assist others in reaching their desire for independence.

What I want my patients to know about me?:

I like to support others in utilizing their interests and strengths to problem solve and develop individualized strategies to effectively manage personal stressors. I feel that meaningful progress occurs when individuals are empowered to understand their own needs and actively participate in shaping their supports. I believe that effective communication is essential, not only for navigating daily challenges, but as a fundamental necessity for having a voice in one's own life.

What I do when I’m not seeing patients?:

I enjoy reading, anything in the sun, walking my dogs and spending days on the beach.
