Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

My interest in a career in medicine goes as far back as I can remember. I always had an interest in people, science, the environment, and the wider world. Working in psychiatry allows me to incorporate all these elements and to truly help people understand their symptoms and find collective solutions together.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I love to travel and explore. My office speaks for itself in that sense. I've trained primarily in the U.S. but also in the Caribbean, England, and New Zealand with the intent on gaining a well-rounded approach to medicine to help treat patients from all walks of life. It has helped me immensely. I also have a background doing one year of primary care, so I tend to take a heavy interest in my patients' medical backgrounds. I find that medical concerns are very often connected with people's mood, thoughts, and emotions so it is a multi-layered approach towards treatment.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I'll reiterate that I love to travel and explore, so when I am out of town, I'm often overseas. I enjoy pretty much anything to do with the outdoors. Long hikes are my specialty, as I find them very therapeutic. I love to read. And I enjoy learning about history, primarily American and European.
