Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare?:

I knew from a young age that I liked learning and helping people. Health promotion and disease prevention were a large part of my education. As I progressed through school, I wanted to get involved and help others live healthier. I really enjoy getting to meet many different people and work together to create realistic goals to improve their quality of life and health outcomes.

What I want my patients to know about me?:

I am a safe space where all are welcome. I foster safety by listening without judgment and treating every patient with respect and empathy. My rooms are a protected setting where you can openly discuss sensitive issues, knowing that you will be heard and cared for. I work hard to ensure that my patients feel heard, understood and in control of their health journey.

What I do when I’m not seeing patients?:

I prioritize time with my family and friends and love to take weekend trips to explore new places. I also enjoy using the creative side of my brain and trying to learn new skills. Over the last year I learned how to quilt, and my goal this year is to learn another new project.
