Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare?:

Helping others — and even more importantly, connecting with others — has always been my true passion. From the time I was very young, I found myself drawn to hearing and truly listening to the stories of other people. I love the process of truly getting to know someone, and in that process empowering them to further get to know themselves. Therapy requires such authenticity and vulnerability on the part of both clients and their families. I am so grateful, and consider it such a privilege, that clients and their families choose to share their stories with me.

What I want my patients to know about me?:

I spent the early part of my career working as a family therapist and truly enjoyed every minute of it. I feel that having a background as a family therapist allows me to recognize how as people, we are all connected to and influenced by each other. I believe that healthy relationships contribute greatly to forming healthy people as a whole and am always interested in assisting my clients and their families with strengthening relationships.

What I do when I’m not seeing patients?:

When I am not seeing patients, you can find me outside! I enjoy taking long runs and walks, especially in nice weather. I love to try any new restaurant or experience that involves great food. I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my seven brothers and sisters, and my favorite role is being an aunt to my one niece and two nephews!
