Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

I chose medicine because I care a lot about people's well-being and want them to live the best life possible. I do value long-term relationships which is why I specifically chose Family Medicine. It enables me spend a reasonable amount of time getting to know my patients better and their families as well. Family Medicine gives me the privilege of maintaining a steady follow up with patients as they journey through life to ensure they are meeting their health goals.

What I want my patients to know about me:

I want my patients to know that for their health, we are in this together. My goal is for my patients to enjoy an optimal quality of life by providing them with medical services geared towards disease prevention, treatment of acute illnesses and management of pre-existing chronic conditions for patients of all ages. I trust that my patients will fulfill their own roles by following recommended lifestyle modifications and/or therapies prescribed. With this joint effort in place, I believe the sky will be our starting point and not our limit. I won't hesitate to involve the expertise of specialists when the need arise and I wish to assure my patients that no situation is hopeless because “with God all things are possible”.

What I do when I'm not seeing patients:

I enjoy spending time with my beautiful family as a wife and a mum.
