Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:
My education is in biochemistry. I have a strong appreciation for science and research. After completing my masters I spent a few years in a cancer research laboratory. While this experience was enjoyable at times I felt a strong disconnect between my research and actual patient care. It was at this point I decided to become a physician

I am kind and compassionate. Straightforward and to the point. I enjoy good humor and do not take myself too seriously.
