I chose to pursue a career in medicine because I would be able to impact lives for the better in an important way. Medicine was the best fit to allow me to use my God given gifts and talents to help people in need. It is a privilege and a blessing to serve others in this way. I chose to be a family doctor because I wanted to be with people through life's journey. I really enjoy getting to know families and seeing the entire age spectrum. I also enjoy caring for a variety of patient health issues.
I'd like my patient to know that I see myself as a good partner in their path to achieve and maintain good health. I will strive to do my best to come beside them in their journey and support their goals for better mental, physical and spiritual health in whatever way will work best for them. We have all been created uniquely and this means that one plan will not work for all. My approach to patient care is to understand each patient individually and provide a continuum of care that is uniquely designed according to need. I put an emphasis on wellness through healthy lifestyle choices. I also offer Osteopathic manipulative medicine, which is a hands on form of treatment primarily as treatment for musculoskeletal pain. I am also open to talking about faith and praying with and for patients in need.
When I'm not working I enjoy spending time with my husband and three boys. I also enjoy gardening, exercising, cooking healthful meals, and volunteering at my kid's school.
